Every hour is checked before it counts

Sessions happen in person at approved public places. Teaching hours can count as community service, so the Conexus team reviews each one first.

Follow one hour of soccer from start to finish

  1. 3:30 PM

    Meet at the booked place

Maya is teaching Eli soccer on Bishop’s upper field. Sessions can only be booked at approved public places.

  2. 3:31 PM

    Both phones check in

Each phone confirms it’s within 50 meters of the field before the next step unlocks.

  3. 3:32 PM

    Eli scans Maya’s code

The code works for this session only and changes every 30 seconds. There’s nothing to type, so it can’t be shared with someone who isn’t there.

  4. 4:33 PM

They check out the same way

Conexus records how long both phones were there together: 61 minutes.

  5. That night

    Both write a summary

Each writes a short paragraph about what they covered. Neither can read the other’s until both are in.

  6. Next day

    A moderator reviews it

A Conexus moderator compares both summaries with the check-in record. Only then do 2 credits move and the hour count.

  7. End of term

    A teacher signs the hours

Maya sends her verified hours to a teacher at her school, who signs from an emailed link.
